The Representation Committee offers guidance and monitors Presbytery entities to uphold the commitment of the Presbyterian Church (USA) to fair and inclusive representation in the decision-making of the church.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To work with Ethnic Ministry Team and other Ministry Teams in educating and equipping groups for participation in the life of the Presbytery.
• To Advise Committees, Ministry Teams and other Presbytery entities in implementing the principles of participation and inclusiveness to ensure fair and effective representation in the decision-making of the Presbytery, according to the requirements of G-9.0105.
• To serve as a resource and advocate to the Presbytery for the representation of racial ethnic members, women, different age groups and persons with disabilities.
• To consult annually with Nominating Committee as directed in the Book of Order. The Representation Committee offers guidance and monitors Presbytery entities to uphold the commitment of the Presbyterian Church (USA) to fair and inclusive representation in the decision-making of the church.
