Rainier Beach Presbyterian Church, a small ethnically diverse urban church, has an immediate opening for an Accompanist/Organist. As a diverse church our music blends hymns, global songs and praise songs and uses classical, jazz, gospel and other styles of music in our worship. The responsibilities of the Accompanist/Organist would be to accompany the choir during practices and Sunday services as well as provide preludes, offertories, postludes and incidental music as required by the services of worship.
Applicants must be of Christian faith, have at least two years formal music education at the college level, and experience in presentation and accompaniment of sacred music, part of that experience in a Christian Church.
